Fancy training your dog to search for truffles? Not quite ready to go foraging with your dog? Then these are the next best thing! Our vented, realistic fake black truffles designed by us and made in the UK with a unique and robust material.
Made with a sophisticated powdershot 3D printing system designed for a robust truffle with a lovely natural matt finish.
The truffles consist of 2 parts which screw together, both ends are vented with a hollow centre for placing your odour.
We recommend using permeated cotton buds/filters with Truffle Hunter Black Truffle Oil.
Simply place your truffle odour inside, hide your truffle and you are good to go!
Tips: Train a freeze indication, beforehand - so when you work on the "real" thing your dog have been taught not to damage the truffle or delicate area surrounding the truffle, particularly important if the truffle is unripe.
Size: 6cms in total length, reflecting a true English black truffle. We do have a larger 7cm Italian white truffle also available to order.
Please note: Our fake truffles are a specialist dog training product and NOT a toy. If your dog is prone to bite or grab objects, we do not recommend using a training truffle due to risk of swallowing/choking.
